Golf grew up helping at his family's fruit stand, following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents before him. Today, he welcomes both locals and visitors with the same passion for Kauaʻi's seasonal fruit. Alongside him, his wife bakes fresh banana bread and mango sticky rice each morning, while their daughters often help around the stand—making Lana's Cafe a truly family-run business.

A family stand, not a franchise.

We're a family-owned fruit stand in the heart of Old Kapaʻa Town, serving fresh fruit, smoothies, and shave ice. By sourcing from local families and farmers, we're able to offer rare, seasonal Kauaʻi-grown fruit you won't find in many other places.

Golf, our owner and a third-generation fruit vendor, grew up helping at his family's fruit stand. Ask him what's in season, and chances are you'll leave with a new favorite fruit—and a story to go with it.

Shave Ice

Our shave ice is made using a classic recipe passed down from one of Kauaʻi's original shave ice makers.

Made from scratch and baked fresh every morning by Tooke, Golf's wife, using ripe local bananas.
